The SDSU Miller Wellness Center is one of just a few facilities in the nation with a gym, health clinic, counseling services and pharmacy all under one roof, on a college campus.
Visitors can choose from various machines and free weights for exercise. There is also a functional fitness space covered in turf, which can be used for weightlifting and CrossFit training.
There are three courts for basketball and volleyball can be played on three courts with a multi-activity court that can be used for soccer, floor hockey, pickleball, batting cages and other activities. Two racquetball courts are located nearby.
The campus community can use the outdoor program space, which has equipment that can be rented. Biking, fishing and rock-climbing equipment are available for checkout. Paddle boards, tents, sleds, skis, hammocks, yard games and more are also located in outdoor programs.
A suspended, three-lane indoor track overlooks the SDSU Miller Wellness Center, and an indoor rock-climbing wall and three fitness studios are also available. Group fitness classes are included with each membership.
The student health clinic offers primary care, reproductive health, immunization and laboratory services. If students are feeling ill, need a health exam or minor procedure, they can make an appointment. There are nine rooms where personal and confidential counseling services are available to students. Appointments can be made through the Jackrabbits Health Clinic and Counseling Portal on MyState or by calling the clinic.
Jackrabbit Pharmacy, where students, faculty and staff can refill prescriptions or buy over-the-counter drugs is adjacent to the clinic. Outside the pharmacy is a vending machine with various medicines and supplies.
