Alumni Association - The SDSU Alumni Association is an independent, not-for-profit organization, non dues association that welcomes all graduates, former students, faculty, staff and friends of South Dakota State, as well as students, to be SDSU Alumni Association members. The SDSU Alumni Associations connects alumni to SDSU and each other, through the promotion of the University and by providing valuable benefits, services and resources to our members. 

Animal Disease Research and Diagnostic Laboratory - The lab provides high-quality veterinary diagnostic services and research to accurately establish causes and control of animal health problems. The work supports veterinarians and animal and human health officials, and plays a critical role in protecting South Dakota's multi-million dollar livestock industry.

AveraNow - Avera and South Dakota State University have teamed to give students an easy, affordable way to meet their health-care needs.

Card Services Office - The office issues the MyJacks Card, which is the official identification and access card for students, faculty and staff. The card is also used for Hobo Dough - a prepaid, stored-value account that is the convenient, cashless way to pay for purchases on and off campus.

Disability Services - Disability Services is located in the University Student Union (Room 065). The office provides assistance for students with a wide range of disabilities.

Engineering Extension - Its mission is to assist the private and public sectors of the state with their technical safety and health needs for the purpose of saving costs for businesses and to benefit economic development. The OSHA Consultation Program is a key effort of Engineering Extension.

Facilities and Services - The support unit serves the University Community by maintaining the existing campus and supporting the expansion and growth of campus through project management and support.

Foundation - The South Dakota State University Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The SDSU Foundation’s efforts directly benefit the University by gathering support from private donors. The SDSU Foundation is the University’s largest private funding resource and directly impacts initiatives that grow and improve SDSU.

Jackrabbit Central - Shop on-line for all your Jackrabbits apparel and merchandise needs.

McCrory Gardens - The gardens include more than 25 acres of formal display gardens & 45 acres of arboretum featuring hundreds of different flowers, trees, shrubs and grasses in harmonious settings to display, educate, and further the development of new varieties.

New Student Orientation - NSO provides great programs designed to help new students prepare for life at State, from academics to extracurriculars, and everything in between.

Off-Campus Housing - On-line resource to help students find housing off campus in Brookings and surrounding communities.

McCrory Gardens

Office of Career Development - The office helps facilitate the transition from student to professional and connects students and employers. Services range from students exploring career options and job possibilities to employers posting jobs and conducting on-campus interviews.

Office of Information Technology - IT supports the campus community through advanced technology.

Office of Institutional Research & Assessment - Functions of the office help advance the university's mission by leading, coordinating, and supporting initiatives and projects related to institutional planning, assessment, and research.

Office of Safety and Security - Safety and security creates and maintains an environment where campus life and learning can thrive.

Office of General Counsel - The Office of General Counsel provides legal advice and services to the University President, officials, and employees on matters that involve or affect South Dakota State University consistent with the oversight of the South Dakota Board of Regents and its General Counsel.

Ombuds Office - The Ombuds Office is a private place to discuss your problems, concerns or complaints.

Parking Services - The office is responsible for all campus parking needs, including contract parking, visitor parking and event parking.

Performing Arts Center - The Performing Arts Center (PAC) serves SDSU and the Brookings Community as a joint use facility. It is the home for great concerts and events in the  Larson Memorial Concert Hall, great studio theatre productions and events in the Fishback Studio Theatre, and great banquet and programs in the Roberts Reception Hall.

Pride of the Dakotas - The Pride is the most visible band at SDSU, performing at events like Jackrabbits football games and presenting shows for the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers, as well as high school marching competitions in Minnesota, Iowa and South Dakota. The Pride has marched in the Rose Bowl parade and performed at Presidential Inaugural Parades in Washington, D.C.

Prairie Repertory Theatre - PRT provides outstanding training for student company members and some of the best possible entertainment in the region.

SDSU Health - is a consortium of South Dakota State University’s health science programs, student health and counseling services and health system and community partners committed to innovations in education, practice, and research across health professions and health-related programs. 

South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum - We are a leader in the preservation of South Dakota agricultural history and in connecting multigenerational audiences to the importance of agriculture in their everyday lives.

Student Health Clinic - Located in the Wellness Center, the Student Health Clinic offers high-quality primary care services. Its mission is to promote the health and wellness of the university community.

Testing Center - The center provides a secure, comfortable and distraction-free environment for all testing.  It is committed to ensuring safety, security of test materials and confidentiality of any personal information shared or provided to the staff.

Pride of the Dakotas

Residential Life - Living on campus is a jumpstart to students' learning and growth during their college careers at SDSU; residential students have everything they need to live, learning, and succeed conveniently located. Residence halls include furnished rooms, lounge areas, kitchens and laundry facilities.

SDSU Extension - The purpose of SDSU Extension is to foster a learning community environment that empowers citizens to advocate for sustainable change that will strengthen agriculture, natural resources, youth, families, and the communities of South Dakota.

South Dakota Art Museum - Since 1970, the South Dakota Art Museum in Brookings has been a place for people around the world to enjoy the artistic legacy of South Dakota in all its diversity. 

South Dakota Transportation Assistance Program - The program develops and educates local government entities throughout the state by utilizing the latest highway and bridge technology. SDLTAP keeps local government officials informed about new publications, techniques, and training opportunities that may benefit their communities.

Summer @ State - Summer activities are abundant on our campus for both kids and adults. We have a variety of camps for all ages, plus workshops adults can attend, too.

Title IX - South Dakota State University has a well-established commitment to maintaining a campus environment free from discrimination and harassment, as articulated in federal and state law and University policy. 

University Bookstore - The fastest way for students to get the books they need for all courses.

University Marketing and Communications - UMC enhances and protects the institutional reputation of South Dakota State University; to advance and strengthen the institution’s brand; to encourage community engagement and to reinforce the university’s relevance to key audiences.

University Policy and Procedure Manual - Official policies and procedures of South Dakota State University. The University is governed by state and federal law, administrative regulations, and policies of the South Dakota Board of Regents (SDBOR) and the State of South Dakota.

University Student Union - Designed with students in mind, the SDSU Student Union in the heart of campus is constantly buzzing.

Veterans Affairs Office - The Veterans Affairs Office assists military veterans, their family members and their survivors in obtaining all federal and state educational benefits and entitlements they have earned by serving in the United States military, and to provide guidance and support services that will aid veterans in their transition to academic and civilian life.

Wellness Center - The Wellness Center houses state of the art fitness equipment, a variety of recreational and intramural programs, effective wellness education, and a  student health clinic and counseling services.

Wintrode Tutoring Program - Free tutoring services to all students to improve their understanding of course material, improve their grades, and increase their self-confidence in relation to course material. In order to do this, tutors will help you to better understand course content and help you develop study strategies to use in current and future courses at SDSU.

Yeager Media Center - The Yeager Media Center is a full functioning video production service and broadcast studio that is located on campus.
