The Writing Center can work with writers at any stage of the writing process. The staff is trained to prompt students to solve their own problems and to find and correct their own errors. Our function is to help students learn to help themselves.  We do not edit students’ papers for them.

Please have the student bring the writing prompt and any previously commented-on drafts of the paper with them in order to give us a clearer idea of what types of changes are desired. You will receive a report summarizing the topics discussed.
