The SDSU Writing Center serves all students enrolled in the university, both graduate students and undergraduates. Many students elect to come to the Center in order to build confidence and skills as writers even when they are not enrolled in a writing class.

Consultants can assist with any writing problem--from how to generate ideas to how semi-colons work. Students can work on an essay for a composition or history class, a research paper, abstracts for a human development or sociology paper, or an application letter for a job or graduate school.

The Writing Center staff is comprised of instructors and graduate students in the Department of English who have all taught English 101 and other writing classes. They are friendly, helpful readers who understand the difficulties of writing.

To schedule an appointment come to Wintrode Student Sucess Center 201 or phone 688-6559.
