Fitness/Personal Training Services

Our Fitness Services are aimed to help you understand your fitness level, establish a workout plan, coach corrective movement form or provide equipment orientation. Our certified staff will take a personal approach to meet you where you are in your fitness journey. Services are non-judgmental, confidential and welcoming of all bodies. Our goal is to provide the resources you need to be successful and confident in the gym.

Our personalized fitness program is built around your needs and fitness level in order to get you moving in the right direction without the use of a personal trainer.  

Once you submit the Fitness Service Request Form below, you will be able to set up a goal setting session with a member of the fitness staff.  Next, you will be provided with an individualized, four-week, workout program ranging from 2-4 days per week based on your goals.  Each program design package will include a 30-minute instruction session with one of our personal trainers.

Body Composition is a method of breaking down the body into its core components: fat, protein, minerals, and body water. It describes your weight more accurately and provides a better glimpse into your overall health than traditional methods. Body composition analysis can accurately show changes in fat mass, muscle mass, and body fat percentage.

We offer in-house body compositions with the use of the InBodyTM. The InBodyTM uses Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) which is a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Alternating low and high-frequency electrical currents are sent through the water in the body via contact with electrodes to measure impedance.

Whether you're brand new to fitness or an experienced gym-goer, being intimidated in the gym is real and we are here to help you through it. We are serious about our goal to make sure the Miller Wellness Center is a great place on campus for everyone, no matter your body type, athletic ability, or past fitness experience. Come by and take a tour with one of our knowledgeable student staff members to learn more about our facility.

Our Personal Training program brings clients closer to their health and well-being goals by offering access to personal trainers at an affordable rate. Regardless of your age or fitness level, working with a personal trainer can have a positive effect on your life. When you sign up with one of our personal trainers, you can expect a custom plan created for you based on your goals and abilities. Our goal is to educate our clients on how to exercise safely, while also achieving results. We will provide you with resources in hopes that you can be successful and confident in the gym even without a personal trainer.

Our Sports Performance Training program provides athletes with the skills and abilities to succeed at their respective sports. As the athletic demands of sport continue to increase, the preparation of the athlete must rise to meet it. Every athlete in the Sports Performance Training program will receive an individual program created by a qualified strength and conditioning professional that is specific to their goals and abilities. In addition to their physical training, athletes will receive personalized nutrition education to help them fuel their bodies and other educational resources to allow the athlete to excel in their sport.
