Abundant research opportunities are available to both undergraduate and graduate students at South Dakota State University, the state’s premier research institution.
At SDSU, you’ll have study options in attractive fields such as renewable energy, food, health sciences, engineering, or nursing. Plus, you’ll have an engaging experience as you collaborate with innovative faculty, who are conducting advanced research in their respective fields.
Here, graduate students focus on research through 12 Ph.D. programs, two professional doctorates, or 24 master’s-level options. You’ll have the chance to take advantage of invaluable graduate assistantships or fellowships, such as the $1 million Monsanto Graduate Fellowship in Plant Breeding, among others.
Undergraduates will build a network of contacts and perhaps even be published in the Journal of Undergraduate Research, or have your work highlighted at a special forum on student research during the South Dakota Legislative session.
You will also have the chance to showcase your findings to friends, colleagues, and of course, mom and dad, at SDSU’s Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities Day. There, everything from posters to media and audio productions to performing arts are presented to the public.
With the freedom to investigate, you’ll spark your creative side and open up a whole new world.
