Welcome to the homepage for the South Dakota State University Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).  The SDSU-IBC was established to oversee the institution’s work with recombinant DNA molecules. The Committee helps ensure that individuals and the environment are protected when research using genetically modified organisms is conducted.

IBC meetings are open to the public, and minutes are made available upon request.

We have recently developed new policies and procedures for the IBC.
