According to Tim Bisantz, there’s just one thing every high school student needs to know about SDSU: “It’s made up of 12,000 friendly, down-to-earth people who love life.”
A transplant from a busy Chicago suburb, Tim loves SDSU’s laid-back attitude and its easy access to virtually every activity known to man. He makes the most of it all by working out in the new Wellness Center, yelling himself hoarse for the Jackrabbits (he’s a cheerleader), serving as a Community Advisor for the freshmen in his hall, and hanging with his brothers in Sigma Phi Epsilon. “I wouldn’t be the man I am today if I weren’t so involved on campus. It’s made me a better person in all sorts of ways—in terms of handling relationships, building my resume, staying motivated, acting like a gentleman, planning for the future.
“SDSU’s motto, ‘You can go anywhere from here,’ is so true,” Tim says. “With all the knowledge and skills I’ve built here, I know I’ll enjoy going wherever life takes me.”
