Joseph Schartz, a May 2016 graduate with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and agricultural business, has been awarded a fellowship worth $5,000 by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi—the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

South Dakota State graduate Timothy P. Donelan, M.D., a former Sanford Health family medicine physician, has been named the new vice president and medical officer for the Sanford Health Plan. Donelan transitioned from his practice to Sanford’s health insurance division last month.
