‘A Smart Match’ art exhibition planned at SDSU

Two South Dakota State University students have joined forces to present their senior art show, “A Smart Match.”

A public exhibition of works by graphic design major Adam Van Schouwen and studio art major Brandie Blosser will be on display from Dec. 10 through Dec. 14 in the Ritz Gallery of Grove Hall at SDSU, located south of the University Student Union between Mathews and Brown residence halls.

Admission is free. The Ritz Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available in the Union and HPER lots.

Van Schouwen will display typography, motion graphics, prints, illustrations and graphic design. He is the son of Neil and Pat Van Schouwen of Sioux Center, Iowa, and a 2006 graduate of Western Christian High School and a 2008 graduate of Northwest Iowa Community College.

Blosser will display paintings, sculptures, drawings and some interior design and computer-generated work. She is the daughter of Krystine Blosser and Randy Adrian of Box Elder and a 2006 graduate of Douglas High School.
