These 25 member groups, selected by audition, perform at all SDSU home basketball games as well as numerous other on-campus activities.
The pep bands provide their signature energy to each performance, enlivening the crowd with their outstanding, original musical arrangements.
Student participants receive a stipend at the end of each season and travel with the teams to conference and NCAA basketball tournaments.
A favorite December tradition on campus is the annual Pep Band/Percussion Ensemble Holiday Concert which raising money for the area Food Bank. The Pep Bands are directed by Dr. Kevin Kessler.
