Woodbine Productions is proud to present Rhythmic Circus at the Performing Arts Center in Brookings on Friday, September 10, 7:30 p.m. in their groundbreaking and innovative live music and dance production,
Feet Don't Fail Me Now!
Rhythmic Circus is comprised of four of the hottest and hippest tap dancers in the country, accompanied by a live band that performs an array of musical genres from funk to R&B to salsa.
Their performance in Brookings is part of a 40-city national tour.
The performance is a rapid-fire, high-spirited stomp that has sold out multiple performances at, among other venues, the Varsity and Ritz Theaters in Minneapolis.
Reviewers have raved that "the dancers have limbs and torsos seemingly suspended by marionette strings, and feet that bounce as though on springs."
The St. Paul Press states, Rhythmic
Circus proves tap dancing can be funky, edgy, explosive and used as a tool to tell tales of life in the modern city."
