REU Site: Simulation and Analysis at South Dakota State University (SDSU S&A REU) Summer 2015
Interested in an exciting and cutting-edge research experience this summer? The department of Mathematics and Statistics of the college of Engineering at South Dakota State University (SDSU) will be hosting a summer research experience for undergraduate students. Faculty members from the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering will provide excellent research experiences for undergraduate students.
This REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) research opportunity is open to US citizens and permanent residents pursuing a baccalaureate degree in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Discipline.
April 13th, 2015: Extended Application Deadline (We are accepting applications for SDSU Summer REU 2015)
June 1nd –July 25th: Program Dates (8 weeks)
$1,800 meal & travel allowance
On-campus housing available at no charge

REU student scholars will be engaged an intensive eight-week program of computationally intensive simulation and analysis in the area of
- Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Computational Science
- Mathematical and Statistical Analysis for Engineering Applications
