Wintrode Tutoring Program

When you need a hand, we're here to help

If you're looking for a challenge, our academic programs will give you one. That's why we offer free tutoring services to all SDSU students through the Wintrode Tutoring Program – to supplement what you are learning in the classroom. Whether you have specific academic goals to meet or you want regular help developing study strategies, we're here for you. We provide this tutoring in select courses, and it's from peers who have been through the same classes as you.

Students and tutorTutors will help you understand course content and teach you study methods to use in current and future courses at SDSU. These sessions are usually held in small groups of up to three students. Requests for one-on-one tutoring may also be accommodated depending on availability. Plus, walk-in sessions for certain courses are available during the semester.

Created in 2005 through a donation from Virgil Wintrode, an SDSU alumnus, the Wintrode Tutoring Program is co-sponsored by the College of General Studies and the Wintrode Endowment through the SDSU Foundation.
