"IndiVisible: African-Native American Lives in the Americas," an exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution, is on display at Briggs Library until Feb. 28.

Briggs Library has partnered with the Smithsonian Institution to bring the exhibition IndiVisible: African-Native American Lives in the Americas to South Dakota State University. The history and culture of people who share both African American and Native American ancestry is examined in this 20-banner exhibit. Some of the exhibit's content can be seen at www.nmai.si.edu/exhibitions/indivisible.

IndiVisible is displayed on the Upper Level of the library from Nov. 23 through Feb. 28. Faculty and teachers are invited to bring their students to view the exhibition.

IndiVisible is a collaboration between the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian, National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service.
