The Wellness Center, which opened its doors in Fall 2008, offers 73,000 square feet of fitness and conditioning equipment designed to promote health, strength, and well being—both physical and mental. And it’s free for students!
Try the 35-foot rock climbing wall, take a spinning class, or get your friends together for a game of hoops on one of three indoor courts. You’ll have dozens of opportunities to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and most importantly, develop healthy habits. The Wellness Center’s got it all, from state-of-the-art cardio and weight-training equipment to an indoor pool and track to group exercise rooms.
In addition to all the cool exercise equipment, the Wellness Center is also home to Community Fitness, the Student Health Clinic and Counseling Center, Intramurals and Recreation Programs, the Jackrabbit Pharmacy, the HEROH program, the Brookings Chiropractic Center and Wellness Express. You’ll also find a C-store (that’s C for convenience) and a cyber bar, so you can check your email in between sets.
So what are you waiting for? Check out the SDSU Wellness Center now.
