The SDSU Cow/Calf Unit maintains purebred Angus and hybrid Sim-Angus cowherd and has a rich history of delivering quality genetics to regional producers. Bull calves are marketed at the annual spring production sale through a limited auction and the majority of heifer calves are retained in the cowherd.
