SDSU offers a variety of academic scholarships. Awards are based on academic achievement, activities participation and leadership.
The Jackrabbit Guarantee program awards a minimum of $1,000 per year for up to four years to any eligible first-time student who earns an ACT score of 24 or higher on the ACT. Students must also attend the main campus in Brookings and meet minimum continuing eligibility requirements.
Each year students who qualify for the Jackrabbit Guarantee must submit a new scholarship application on MyState.
How to Apply
To be considered for most SDSU scholarships, including the Jackrabbit Guarantee, admitted first-year students must complete the Freshman Academic Scholarship Application. Along with the application, students should submit a recommendation letter and personal statement.
