South Dakota State University offers selected degrees in the Rapid City, South Dakota region, allowing students access to educational resources while enjoying the year-round recreational opportunities afforded by the majestic Black Hills.

SDSU offers degree programs in Counseling and Human Resource Development and Educational Leadership at the Higher Education Center - West River in Rapid City.  In addition, we also offer classes at several other locations including the campus of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Black Hills State University in Spearfish,  BHSU Extension Site in Rapid City, the Rapid City Regional Health Science building, and Lakeway Learning Center in Gillette, Wyoming. Degrees offered include:

• M.Ed. in Educational Administration
• M.S. in Counseling and Human Resource Development
