Whether you’re tramping through a field or sampling in a lab, evaluating original historical sources or dissecting Elizabethan poetry, you’ll find yourself enjoying hands-on research at SDSU. Our professors appreciate the importance of engaging students in groundbreaking projects – and they do that in every major.
To get a sense of what SDSU students are up to, check out our Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities Day. You’ll see undergrads from throughout the University demonstrating their scholarship in poster sessions, art exhibits, audio and visual presentations, and performances. Or pick up a copy of our Journal of Undergraduate Research, another forum for original undergraduate work.
SDSU’s graduate research programs are also top notch; in fact, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching classifies SDSU as a university with “high research activity” – the only such university in the state.
SDSU is proud of its dynamic research environment that affords so many undergraduate and graduate students once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunities, and we look forward to you joining us in the next wave of discoveries.
